i still need to get Luigi's Mansion 3. i suppose it isn't ever gonna get a sale that's more than 30% off, so i think i'll pick it up next time i see it drop in price (of if i decide to get those Vouchers again)

same thing w Astral Chain- i was hoping to see it drop in price a bit too since i'm a bit interested in that one
this is why i want more games to have demos, they really need them. i'm interested in Astral Chain, but i'm definitely not gonna pay full $60 not knowing if i'll really like it once i dive inl

So worth it! It's easily the best looking Switch game period. I have no idea how the game developers did it. The shininess of things.. the reflections.. the fibers visible on Luigi's clothes.. the fact that the cutscenes seamlessly transition back to gameplay. Great stuff.

 

Secret way to get a sale on any Nintendo game is buying them physical and reselling once your done. They never lose their value!

yeah this is a day 1 buy for me. @Penlab and I have been beating the Mystical Ninja drum forever and this feels like a spiritual successor

 

I just want a proper remake and rerelease of all the Mystical Ninja games

I’ve been playing the NES world championship game. It’s nothing spectacular, but I like it well enough to kill some time.

Anyways, it had me thinking… why the hell is Nintendo so proud of stupid ass Ice Climbers and Balloon Fight? God, these two games in particular suck a massive dong, but I do wonder if a modernized version of these games with controls that aren’t actual dogshit would make for at least some entertainment.

Also, while I’m twiddling my thumbs at work and thinking about old NES games that need a modern remake… how about Kung Fu and Paperboy? God, I had so much fun with those as a kid.

But seriously, does anybody like Ice Climbers? Balloon Fight I get, but does anyone have fond memories of Ice Climbers?

 

But isn't that what's beautiful about it? I actually never played Ice Climbers as a kid. Wasn't even really aware of it. But here a character and game that would otherwise be obscure has gained a small but devoted fanbase solely by being that weird obscure character. It's the circle of life, motherfucker.
