Does anyone have more songs on this list than her atm? I feel like Taylor could be the only one.

Still think this is my favorite on the album, it’s so fucking good.

“My Kink is Karma” is an incredible song, also probably the most Swift/Antonoff sounding imo. Definitely has elements of “Cruel Summer” and “Blank Space”, which are two of the best pop songs of the last 20 years so yea, good company.

my partner, who really doesn't like Taylor, says that the effect Taylor's songs have on other people My Kink is Karma has on him

    Naked in Manhattan.

I love "My Kink Is Karma", but it's definitely on the lower half of my song rankings from the album.

And I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but it's also the one that you can tell the most that it was cowritten/produced by Nigro. The melody run of "people say I'm jealous, but my kink is watching youuuuuuu" feels VERY Olivia Rodrigo-y.To the point that when I heard that song for the first time, I wondered if Rodrigo passed on using that melody and Dan tried it out with Chappell and it worked.

Speaking of Nigro, has anyone here listened to his old band As Tall As Lions? They're incredible (imo)!

My absolute keeps: Red Wine Supernova, After Midnight, Casual, My Kink Is Karma, Naked in Manhattan, Good Luck Kid

Not my favorites, but I get it: Femininomenon, Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl, HOT TO GO, Pink Pony Club

Would cut: Coffee, Picture You, Kaleidoscope, California, Guilty Pleasure

I don’t hate ballads but I do think she’s way better at bangers

Picture You is great, California and Guilty Pleasure are both so underrated still.

The more I listened to the album the more I appreciated all of it.

I do think it's interesting that the dialogue around both Chappell and Olivia seems to be "The ballads are boring but the bangers rule." I think both have ballads that are extremely well constructed from a songwriting perspective, but I would agree that both struggle to make those two sides of the coin coexist on the same album.

I think "Coffee" and "Picture You" are both really well written songs, they just don't really jell with what she's doing elsewhere.

i like the ballads now, but i think it's probably because i've spun the album so much now that i've just gotten used to the sequencing

I disagree about Picture You not fitting but I agree that Coffee and Kaleidiscope don't fit as much. But at the same time I get the placement of Coffee, following After Midnight.
