I personally think relocating a ride to another park isn’t something that will ever happen

Concept art for the Monsters Inc ride looks insane. My wife and I are already talking about a trip in 2026 now. Haha

 

Glad Hercules is getting some love from Disney with this new cruise ship show

 

At this point, I think they didn’t feel confident in the number of announcements and amount of information they wanted to provide, so they added all these performances to pad for time and add entertainment value.

 

13 active Disney Cruise ships by 2031. Almost tripling their current fleet.

 

Could not care less about this Disney metaverse from the Fortnite people.

 

The crowd doesn’t care much either by the sounds of it.

 

They're spending more time talking about Fortnite than any of the new land announcements..

So what happens to stuff like when they announced the Mary Poppins ride in Epcot? The pandemic derailed it but it just disappears forever?

 

They're finally doing that Avengers ride at DCA. Avengers: Infinity Defense. Construction starting next year.

 

A 4th attraction coming to Avengers Campus at DCA. Stark Flight Lab. Looks like a Kuka Arm ride. RDJ will be reprising his role as Tony Stark for the ride.

Someone tally the Disneyland/DCA announcements please

 

The announcements tonight tell me that they realized too late they weren’t ready for Epic Universe. Most things with dates are 2026/2027 and starting construction very soon, three out of the four parks are getting brand new lands in the near future, and they are bringing in some of their biggest IPs with Cars, Monsters INC, Encanto, and Villains. Iger definitely saw what was on the horizon and said oh shit. While they’re behind the 8-ball, if these all actually come to fruition as planned or close to, they’ll be in good position to deal with Universal.

 

• The first-ever Audio-Animatronic figure of Walt Disney himself will be a part of “Walt Disney – A Magical Life,” a new show debuting at Disneyland Park in 2025
• Tiana opening at DL 11/15
• Coco themed boat dark ride at DCA
• Avatar land at DCA. Will be completely different than DAK's. Based on the sequels. Will have an innovative new boat ride.
• Avengers: Infinity Defence E-Ticket coming to Marvel Land at DCA
• Stark Flight Lab Kuka Arm ride coming to Marvel Land at DCA
