I think I watched Crawl because I heard Tarantino thought really highly of it?

I don’t remember a thing about it other than Barry Pepper being in it.

  14. M3gan is more funny than scary, which is fine. Too much ai horror popping up all at once tho

Will probably have to catch Cuckoo next week. Going to Deadpool 3 tomorrow with some friends

  20. I loved many things about Cuckoo and also felt like it was not fully capable of telling its own story. Incredible performances, a stylish vision, and delightfully bloody - also very messy and bogs itself down by trying to do a little too much

Not that I have any doubts, but how is Hunter in this? It’s her first time being a lead in a film and it’s also actually her first movie in general because it was filmed before Hunger Games and Kinds of Kindness.

  22. She was very good. A few scenes early on irked me a bit but I think the more her character becomes entrenched in the world she’s been put in the more natural she feels. Having never seen her in anything before I came away impressed

As good as Dan Stevens is, Hunter’s performance was my favorite in Cuckoo. She kills it

    Yeah Hunter was great.

Hunter is easily the best part of Cuckoo. The general plot is predictable and the reveals are not very satisfying, but Hunter elevates the whole thing imo.
