Eh I think she’s picked up a good amount of voters further left than your typical democrat and there’s plenty of time for her to lose that momentum and it some circles its already happening. Maybe Shapiro alone won’t hurt. Shapiro coupled with hardcore Zionism and writing Israel a blank check while conflating protestors with terrorists (and never once mentioning the terrorism of the IDF) is going to hurt. Plenty of time for her to lose the left wing that she’s picked up and if she picks Shapiro that’s one step toward that happening

I saw a great tweet the other day basically saying only calling Hamas terrorists is about the worst take on the situation you could have. Either they both are or only the IDF is but under no discernible measure is Hamas the only one carrying out terrorism (and given their place in the context of the settler colonialism going on over there it’s very hard for me to call anyone but the IDF a terrorist organization at this point)

 

Fascinating seeing people own themselves, not just by our definition of being owned or embarrassed but by their own definition of it, because of their compulsion for being absolutely weird and off-putting. They can’t help but keep talking about trans people and bathrooms and genitals unprompted and the relatives of politicians and other weird stuff.

I am seeing this play out over and over on Twitter today. It is kind working like magic.

 

I’m starting my masters degree tonight with an online course from a school in Ohio that I’m going to have to eventually take a few weeks every summer to go out and do 8 classes on campus, but yeah..lottttta white dudes from Ohio in this course with me lol

 

Chances are you're not going to be with "JD Vance-ish" people getting their Master's. Honestly, I know people like that I have to deal with and they're generally nice and fine, I just shut down any politics talk and move past it. Generally conversations just take place around sports, video games and music and leave it there. A lot of them I find don't pay much attention and are pretty ill informed obviously, they're just stuck in this american exceptionalism brainwash cult that doesn't make any sense. Curious on your Ohio experience though.

I'm glad so far it seems like this campaign is actually responsive to what people want. I feel like I've never seen that before.
