Fuck most customers but did they not serve beer? Cause if they did that’s just weird, give the dude a beer if he wants it.

 

I was bartending two Saturdays ago and in the middle of a pretty decent “dinner” rush I had a group of 7 guys order 7 different multi touch drinks. It’s a bar that’s fine. They then left me $3 on a $120 tab.

I entered $30 at the end of the night fuck that lol.

Damn, I loved my grocery store job. I worked at one from the time I was 15 until a week before I left for college. Much of what you said was true about the dress code and women only at the registers and not sitting, but the place employed like, 30 teens my age and every night it was just like hanging out with friends - so it was cool. Plus we got mad tips for bringing people's carts out to their cars.

That said, I got fired for stealing beer all the time.

 

I worked at Moe’s in high school. We stole so much beer and tequila from there at one point we were completely out and the GM was confused because the inventory didn’t add up. He was dumb.

I think it was mostly him being in a “posh” establishment and choosing a shit beer. He chose a wine instead but even he found it funny.

But it’s like how in Italy, some places will refuse to serve you a cappuccino after like 11am. Definitely doesn’t happen here in the UK, but it’s just a different way of life I guess.

 

she was an absolute rock star when first introduced and people didn’t know much about her/realize how not smart she was.

 

Yeah I will say it was nice to have a bunch of teens my age there. It's like the biggest chain of grocery stores in New England and I knew a ton of people from my high school worked there across multiple towns. We weren't allowed to take tips loading peoples cars :(

Haha they're a good store, but man it was miserable and the time went by so slowly. A 4 hour shift felt like a full day. Constantly making me work until 10 on a school night blows since my school was 30 mins to an hour away during traffic, so you'd have to get up at 5:30 am to be there for the 7am bell
