I also forgot that Borderlands is an Eli Roth movie. So it's even better it's going to go down in flames.

 

I commend Apple TV+ on doing mostly original stuff and putting their movies out in theaters. But yeah, they were spending a ton of money on projects with big stars that no one cared about. I mean, how was “Fly Me To The Moon” like $100+ million? That’s ridiculous.

 

That’s a shame because they had some of the best original shows of the last 2-3 years.

 

Yeah Apple has definitely been putting out the most consistent stuff imo. Especially in the sci-fi realm.

Potential oscar contender judging by the talent involved.

 

This headline buries the lead. This is going to be more like Oppenheimer than Saving Private Ryan. This is going to be a movie about the meteorologists doing the weather planning leading up to d-day. One of the most fascinating stories of the war that barely anyone knows about. Basically about the most important weather forecast in history.

I figured they'd make this after Oppenheimer showed people will watch a war movie primarily about behind the scenes science guys.

 

I am definitely looking forward to it plus its still pretty surreal to even say out loud Academy Award Winner Brendan Fraser!! Judging by what u said.. if the film turns out to be as great as the premise then Brendan might be back in the awards race

Hopefully since FAMK is a Sony Television produced project and not made by Apple this won't effect it too bad.

If it comes to it. Technically Sony can shop it to Netflix or Amazon to continue it if Apple cancels it.
