I was doing this a whole lot because my manager is clueless. But now they changed to “flexible/unlimited PTO” so I’ll have to find a new way to scam before I get laid off

Have thought about doing this too, sometimes when I take off sick I do that but haven't tried it for a long stretch yet

 

I told my boss to warn me before they do this so I can use all of mine up right before (in the situation where I have any that could be lost)

I came into such a bullshit situation at work today that I considered turning around and going home before I even got to my desk

 

maybe I'll just call in (out?) tomorrow to pick up the college football game as soon as best buy opens

Currently just had to watch a 14 minute video on recruiting in the college football game because I had noooooo idea what the hell I was doing.

The Mormons were def not getting anybody last night but now I’m ready

a lot of other departments treat my warehouse as a storage facility, "oh send it to the okc warehouse and we'll use it later for a different store" and it never does

almost 2 years ago we had like 8 pallets of shelving for a new store and all of the equipment for a Subway remodel in freaking Fargo at my warehouse just taking up space. We ended up taking it to one of our distribution centers about 45 minutes from OKC and put it in storage containers

someone on the distribution side recently decided those storage containers *had* to go, so the store shelving was sent back to my warehouse, without any prior notice, which resulted in the guys in the mail room next door having to unload it. Fine, I can manage that

yesterday after I left, the supervisor of the mail room called me and said "hey, we've got a truck driver here with some equipment from Fargo, he's supposed to deliver it to your warehouse" and I told him I had no idea what he was talking about, but the mail guys said they'd take care of it

I get here today and it's SO MUCH BULLSHIT and I feel awful that the guys in the mail room had to unload all of it

and I was told AGAIN yesterday, prior to this, that I won't be getting any help in the warehouse, even though I've been managing the traveling team and the warehouse for over a year on my own now and the team has grown from 2 to 8 guys

I already have a TLaw and ETN jersey so I went with a new one

 

god these are so much better than the current ones

Something at work is broken causing escalation emails to resend ad nauseum and I keep getting escalation emails from another team and cannot focus on anything because Outlook will not shut the fuck up

Guess it's time to game instead
