I mean… FWIW, they don’t put the popcorn in the bucket if you buy a popcorn bucket

d23 using the Horizons name to inspire goodwill among the nostalgic Epcot people is a smart piece of pandering

Tom from WDW News " hearing there are going to be really big things at D23 for WDW beyond Tropical Americas at DAK and Beyond Big Thunder MK. Expect huge announcements "

I kinda vague hate teases like that. Just say specifically what you're hearing bro.

We went to Dollywood this weekend -- I think it's now my favorite theme park I've visited or certainly in the top two/three. Really great theming and some top-tier rides.

It also certainly didn't hurt that almost every ride was a walk-on.

The only issue stemmed from our rental car's GPS, which decided to take us to the service entrance and then got us lost in some weird one-way unpaved roads in Pigeon Forge. Whoops.

A clone of Radiator and a Dinosaur reskin to Indy is just incredibly lacking imagination.

Anyone in here done a Euro park trip? Any tips/recommendations? I’m starting to plan a summer 2025 backpacking trip to check out Efteling, Europa Park, Parc Asterix, and Phantasialand.

I really enjoy the fact that none of these parks have a skip the line service, makes it so much easier knowing everyone is on a level playing field.

Got some time off next week and gonna do a mini road trip through PA to hit some parks. Def want to check out Iron Menace at Dorney and finally make it to Knoebels for Phoenix and Flying Turns.

    Any tips on these parks?

Actually going there Tues for the Foos/Hives/Amyl show…don’t think I’ll get there early enough to hit the park.

I was hoping concert tickets included park admission like they do at Darien Lake but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

I miss the free concerts that I saw as a teenager at my local Six Flags. I wish I could remember them all but after looking at the concert archive here's what I do remember:

Simple Plan / Good Charlotte / Relient K in 2005
    Sum 41 in 2005
Bo Bice / Rihanna (!!) / Nick Lachey / Dirtie Blonde / All American Rejects in 2006
    Cartel & Plain White T's in 2007
All Time Low (yuck) in 2008
Didn't go to Katy Perry in 2008 but I wish I did
Didn't go to Lady Gaga & Flo Rida in 2009 but I wish I did

This list is definitely not accurate because I know for a fact I saw Dashboard Confessional in like 2009 and Raven Symone at some point

My house was so close to Six Flags that I could sometimes hear the concerts from my backyard

I saw Brett Michaels at Busch Gardens and have a picture of me sleeping throughout most of it.

if you’re ever in the northeast Six Flags Darien Lake has a Live Nation 22k-cap amp attached to it. You get free admission to the theme park with any concert ticket, sometimes a lawn concert ticket ends up being cheaper than a park ticket itself.

Saw 3EB/Yellowcard, Odesza, NFG/AAR, Post Malone, Offspring, and a bunch more the last couple summers…all under $40 for lawn.

I am in the Northeast but that's about a 5 hour drive for me haha. Six Flags New England is down the road from me though

Got into a rabbithole of looking up Michelin star restaurants in FL. I had no idea Victoria & Albert's at the Grand Floridian got it's first Michelin earlier this year. First ever star for a theme park restaurant too.
