Haha, Im actually in the minority and like Simple Math the best. They're all incredible though. I'll definitely have to get Mean Everything the next time around.

Finally got the mint green variant of Valencia's WANTB album from Bad Time Records. One of my all time favorites.

My Bazan collection is nearly complete. Just missing 2 fairly rare 7 inches.

 

Damn that's awesome. I'm not too familiar with Bazan, but that is one mighty collection right there.

 

Ahhh it's soooo good! If you have a minute, I would check out "Control." Just the best.

 

So stupid me forgot to order a phono preamp with my Debut Carbon, but it finally came in the mail today (gotta love Amazon Prime Sunday deliveries). I'm finally up and spinning and this thing sounds fantastic. And it looks beautiful too.

 

How much did it cost? And is it a required purchase?

I thought the carbon had an amp built in.

 

I thought so too but I guess not. I got one for 12 bucks off Amazon.

Sorry, I should've been more specific. Which preamp did you grab? This is all new to me.

I'll probably grab those sub-$50 Dayton speakers with the Pro-Ject.

 

Since I moved I haven't had extra money to buy records (I also want a better setup as well) so my record buying has slowed down a lot. The last two records I picked up were All Dogs' "Kicking Every Day," and Foxing's "Dealer."

 

I posted about this in the DC animation thread but if you're into Batman & vinyl, this Batman the Animated Series vinyl box set will make your life. It's even more beautiful in person too.

Its pretty small, I have it set up behind my receiver so I can't even see it. Only a minor inconvenience.
