The Crown s4 is wild

 

A guy broke into the palace twice!? And the second time they already knew about it and how he broke in yet he did it again and the exact same way AND he got to the Queen!? The fuck

 

The opera scene in rogue nation is so good

 

I think that part is correct. The part that was made up for the show obviously was the conversation they had. The Queen didn't say a word to him, just waited for security to remove him.

I am watching that Simone Biles docuseries on Netflix that just dropped. Man gymnastics seems awful. If the only way to be competitive on the world level is to mentally and physically destroy children then maybe we shouldn't do it?

For presumed innocent my gf thinks there is going to be a big reveal of who actually did it but I think it just ends with a guilty/not guilty verdict.

This is an example of a show for me that just goes too off the rails to the point where it's not at all believable and the characters (Adam... Ugh!) just behaved so stupidly. I stopped like 3 episodes into s2. I get upping the ante and the drama, but this show just went wild in a silly way. A friend who finished said the s2 ending is crazy so I'm assuming that Netflix may greenlight a 3rd season? I don't know if you finished it or your thoughts, but I loved the hook / premise and was in for a minute then it became eye rolling.

Since it's a show I have no desire to ever finish, I regret it. There's not many shows I watch multiple episodes of and just stop and this was one of the few.

 

Glad you enjoyed it! I also couldn't stop once I started. Acting was top tier and the story is unbelievable.

Black Bird is a really good show. I read the book after and Jimmy isn’t very likeable at all (not that he is for a lot of the show but his hero worship of himself is way worse in the book) and he comes across as embellishing a lot. So I take the details with a grain of salt but it doesn’t affect the story told in the show

 

Black Bird is phenomenal. Paul Walter Hauser plays one of the most memorable villains I’ve ever seen and he absolutely nailed it.

I’m assuming the show ended with the same reveal as the movie. So, I get that response.

Haha yeahhh. I'm hyped though, this has been a great show. I'm definitely watching the movie afterwards to see how it compares.

 

I saw it a couple years ago and enjoyed it. Ford was great. Did not see the ending coming.
