Playing through We Don’t Need to Whisper for the first time in a long time. I would love it if in the next 5 years Tom did a throw back AVA record that is as sprawling as whisper and empire but with some modern sounds. Loved that opener song on the phantom break pedal ep.

  2. Totally fine imo. Cause it was cool for the other parts of the stadium and most (or felt like most) of the songs were facing us front and they both walked around the whole thing a lot.

  6. Someone link me to the best audio/visual quality full concert video that especially shows their screen really well, pretty please.

Being up close in the pit was great but I was under the screens so couldn’t see them whatsoever and everyone’s been saying how good the visuals were.

    Thanks in advance!

I would love it if Tom never made another AVA album/EP/whatever again. Especially with the material he put out with blink on OMT I have zero desire to hear any new AVA. We need him focus on just one band.

Anthem 3 is the thesis for this era. Literally the perfect album opener for OMT. Such a treat to get it live on this tour. Got me choked up in Denver.

    Die rad.

How's the merch quality been for this tour? True to size on shirts? Wash once and they shrink a size? Anyone know the brand? I like the trucker hat, but afraid it is cheap foam quality that just looks awkward on the sides.

Absolutely same. The entire crowd belting "the line" from the bridge was just goosebumps on goosebumps.

For the first time ever, I didn't get any shirts. I don't have the best luck with merch, and I didn't wear any of the blink stuff i bought last year, for all those reasons you just described. I don't know why everyone can't just print on Comfort Colors or Next Level stuff.

Also, I was tempted by the trucker as well. It looks better in person, but I still just couldn't.
$45 for a $10 trucker hat is insane to me.

That’s the same artist who did the limited 2009 reunion tour poster too!

Anytime a new song gets that big of a crowd pop it’s always special. That one was a surprise and so powerful given Mark’s health situation over the last couple of years. The line being about fearing no one would care if he is gone and having stadiums shout it back has to be such a big validation for him. One of the best moments in the set. lol and the Ole’s getting a huge pop but for the opposite reason, a silly Tom line that hits the nursery rhyme itch is amazing two ends of the spectrum that makes Blink Blink. Deep undertones of darkness and simple sing along glory firing on all cylinders.

The merch kind of sucks on this tour. If it wasn’t for the one off nicely printed Drain shirt I would have passed. IMO I’d definitely go for a show poster or vinyl.

Yea all the designs I've seen are garbage. I kinda like the grey shirt, but not worth $45 if the quality or sizing is crap. Also my thoughts on the hat too. Will certainly try to grab a poster to add to my collection. Already own all blink LPs on vinyl.

Also Italia posted that thing about everyone wearing the target untitled shirt at the show and it was SO ACCURATE. Must have seen 200 people in that pseudo bootleg at the show. So funny. Kind of really want one ironically. We happened to be in Denver the week the Eras tour went through and I was so tempted to get a shitty bootleg. Would have scooped something for blink if I saw a bootleg stand. I have an abiding love for bootleg merch.

    RE: Merch
Wait for it to go on sale after the tour is over. They'll likely throw it online at some point.
