Yellowcard Cover Jimmy Eat World

Usually when I see these kind of posts I think "we don't need a cover of that song." This is a really nice cover.

 

Had a feeling they would do a great job with this one, such a good song.

 

Was really looking forward to this but hard pass for me...

 

Yeah, it’s fine but inessential. Full band Yellowcard would have had my attention but this doesn’t compare to the original in any way.

 

I love YC and JEW and I hope they had a great time covering this but I can’t understand that vocal production. Ryan Key is a great vocalist, there’s no need to make him sound like this

 

It helped raise money for a family that just lost their mom.

Agreed. The original is legendary. We wanted to do something nice for a friend who lost someone dear to them. Really appreciate your opinion though.
