My uncle that died last year was an airline pilot for awhile and had a little Cessna. He always offered to take us up and give us lesson but fuccccccck that small ass plane.

 

one of my good friends is in the air force and got his pilots license in 2022, and in november we randomly flew up to NH for a few hours to chill and get food and the plane was this small lol





A shockingly smooth flight in something that small and it was a crazy fun experience lol

 

You can do much worse than a Cessna but all those little ones do get bumped around a lot during the summer. Plus no A/C on any of them made before like, 2010.

The only reason you will crash in a Cessna is due to pilot error/lack of attention to hazards like weather/terrain.

Cessnas can go into a spin and recover back to straight and level flight without you touching a single thing. If that helps lol

 

Even general aviation is much much safer than driving, statistically. Airline operations (in America) haven’t had an accident since that rule change in 2009

It's a combination of not understanding how they work, not being in control, and claustrophobia
