The $15 console version not getting day one games while the $12 PC version does is fucking hilarious

 

If you’re deep into the Xbox ecosystem and can afford a PC

do that instead. because it’s going to get worse in the future

This was bound to happen eventually and it sucks but since I use the PC version I’m happy I’ll be relatively unaffected for now.

 

You need ultimate on console for day one titles. $20 a month

 

If you have an existing sub it’s $11 and day one games tho

 

Is anyone familiar with buying one or three months GPU codes off of reseller sites? I have a situation.

My GPU 3 month ends a few days after September 12, so I can't downgrade to the console edition before then. ALL I care about is day 1 on console, I don't care for or need online play. I'd rather not pay the 19.99 and would really like to get grandfathered into the cheaper Day 1 plan. So, I already use the key reseller sites and I was wondering which of these options would work and keep me at the cheaper price?

Buy Game Pass Core (let's say a years worth) and then add a month of GPU to said Core to upgrade it for the remainder of the duration .....now would I add the Core right *now* to add onto my subscription set to expire in September? Or would I wait for the GPU to expire, and *then* add to the Core codes?

Everyone should’ve been abandoning the Xbox ecosystem for years now, but this really should be the final line in the sand that you need to either go ps5 or pc.

 

are there even any xbox exclusives anymore? if you hdmi your pc to your tv and get an xbox controller you basically have an xbox?

 

Playing Crash Bandicoot 4 on switch for the first time, and let me tell ya, I am not good at this game lol. I'm dying 20+ times per level. Fun game though.

 

I love Crash Bandicoot but man do I die A LOT. haha

 

Man idk why but my depth perception is way off on this game haha. Too used to the feel of Mario for platformers I guess.

Weird controls, too. Telling me to hold down A and double tap B at the same time feels so awkward

I don't have a PC. I only own one physical Xbox game which is Starfield. I guess I'll sub for a month whenever an exclusive (fable, avowed, etc) comes out.

I mainly play on my PS5 but there's def some exclusives that aren't on here yet.

 

Easily the messiest approach MS could have taken to try and solve the Game Pass conundrum. I know they keep saying they're looking to do more for PC users, but to do it at the expense of console users seems like a terrible idea given how uncompetitive they currently are in the console space (although they don't seem all that concerned about this now.)

All I can say is I'm glad I have a PC.
