    It's all hell.

Aside from the inevitable terrible weather it's going to be sick. Like you've pointed out there's so much good shit in the undercard. I think Trees do that so much better than other UK festival. Also, it has the best silent disco in the world

Haha I have no site merch to rock, but I'll be there in my trusty Riot Fest hat I'm sure!

Sadly, I will only be able to weakly cheer our boys on, as my voice is still struggling after surgery lol

Really? Seems like a harmless place where nothing exciting ever really happens from my experience haha.

I grew up one town over as a kid/teenager. That town is genuinely grim as hell. Only place I’ve gone into Tesco and almost everything was in those Anti-theft boxes. Mate lives there still and three kids have been stabbed to death within minutes of his home. Town centre looks like it never recovered from being bombed. Just an all round bad vibe kinda place lol.

Hey everyone. I know I was a bit over the top last Friday and posted some things that I really regret. Since my memory of it is a little blurred, I actually just went through all of the posts again now (yes that took me a solid hour or even a bit more) to address some of them now.

That insult towards @Zoshchenko was actually not meant to go to him, but to the tweet he posted. And later I kinda doubled down on it, maybe because I could not completely remember what he was actually posting. So yeah, really sorry about that, @Zoshchenko did nothing wrong.

The post where I insulted the English about never having won any trophy was obviously not directed to any individual here. And it was mostly fueled by us getting an English ref the second time in a row (and because I know how bad English refs are in comparison to their international colleagues). I already had a very bad feeling about Taylor refereeing the game before it even started and it proved to be valid basically from the start. But still, no reason to insult every person from England here. I think I actually never had a problem with any English user in here, I had mostly very positive interactions.

And then there was this altercation with @iamNex. Also generally more or less uncalled for, but I am very sensitive when someone calls me a "racist" out of nowhere. And even more so if it's someone rooting for our rivals. Maybe I should have been above it all, but in the heat of the moment that was apparantly not possible. But conflating him with the actions of his club in the 1930s was pretty stupid, too.

So yeah, all in all, I am really sorry to have caused a bit of trouble in here. Usually this is a place where we all can discuss football without personal insults. And I really regret that that was not the case last Friday because of me.

And yes, it feels a bit weird to even address all of this, but it would feel even weirder to not mention it at all and just post something as if nothing had happened.

  17. more should have been made out of calling being anti-english a form of racism. very silly and very funny claim that i feel like multiple people went along with!

I actually missed most of those tbf. I probably would have found that very funny, cause England do suck and we don’t win anything. That’s just a fact ha!

If it makes u feel any better: my father in law is a die hard FC Bayern fan. When his daughter brought home a 1860 Munich fan he was not too happy. But in the last 12 years he gradually accepted me :-) Nature is healing, man.

Just found out that Bukayo Saka has 11 man of the match awards in 28 England starts.

    That is genuinely nuts.

I don’t think he’s as good as Arsenal fans do (he is brilliant though) but it’s absolutely insane how under appreciated he is compared to say Foden.

Just highlighting the terms "set to pick" and "still keen". This has been some saga and it's not over yet imo, especially with Ornstein's aforementioned indecisiveness. His agent, he comes across as quite a character, must be feeding everyone different lines.
