This rec came from @Dinkleberg originally but this is a band from Philly a lot of us would like. They’re bigger than DIY/local but only very recently (like after they released this album in 2022) did they take off, not a well known act yet

Had an exhausting two weeks, physically and emotionally and financially. Went to bed 8 pm last night.

So I woke up right before sunrise and came on my roof. Just made an omelette and coffee and got yogurt and hot sauce and came back up here. Listening to Caracara. Watching moths and ladybugs come and go. Smoked a bowl at sunrise and about to smoke another. Having an awesome morning.

 

Our office manager texted me at 7am to tell me my first appointment cancelled….only to follow up by saying she *might* fill the spot because my bosses got stuck in Switzerland (very poor planning on their part). Why even text me then???

 

Also my birthday is in 3 weeks, Sunday the 28

the only gifts I would want are 1) telling me happy birthday and 2) if anyone feels like it, donating a little bit towards my band finishing this album

Man the thing I missed least about going to the gym is locker room conversation. Fucking sheesh.

Ugh that sucks. That would annoy me too. This is why I’d rather “work out” by going cycling or something by myself lmao

 

But this time of year. You’d wanna ride that bike EARLY and come back by now cause it be getting HOT

Goated band, cannot recommend them enough. Will shared a demo of a new song earlier this year and my fingers are crossed that we get a new album by the end of the year. Not above crossing my toes as well
