I have eaten my words and now love that and Femininomenon. They weren’t my favorites on first listen but I get it now.

I’m embarrassed I was so lukewarm on some of this earlier in the thread. I love the whole thing and can listen to it endlessly.

I'm still not really into about half the album, but my wife's new obsession more than makes up for it

Big fan of the album but I hope the next one has less ballads because those are the real low points for me. Coffee is probably my least favorite track

Coffee, Picture You, Kaleidoscope, California, Guilty Pleasure... all don't do much for me. Even Naked in Manhattan TBH

Agreed. It also happens to work out perfectly that if I skip the four(?) ballads then the album is the exact length of my commute to/from work.

    Naked in Manhattan.

One of the most well-written songs ever. Crazy good.

I understand thinking the ballads are the weaker points on this album, and I mostly agree, but damnnn do I love Kaleidoscope.

it's odd that all the ballads have grown on me so much, especially Kaleidoscope. hell, i even love Love Me Anyway.

Agreed on the ballad discourse. I came into this album expecting Kim Petras style pop just based off of the cover though so that might have to do with it. Femininomenon, Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl, and Naked in Manhattan are standouts for me.

As someone not queer and not femme I'm not her target audience though so if the ballads are making her money then get that bag sis.

I’m not remotely in her target audience and the ballads are just fine with me

Eh, on Hemlocke being a breakout.

I'm more hoping that Peach PRC is the next lesbian pop singer to break out. She always felt in the same popularity as Chappell before her blow up.
