Regular silly candidate Count Bin-face ran in Rishi Sunak’s seat purely as a troll move

Apparently five different pro-palestine independents beat out labour candidates in what were supposedly safe seats.

Dems in America should probably take note. They won't. But they should

I believe it was three. Which is still enough to make everyone take note.

My city had a couple of pro-Palestine candidates for various seats. Sadly, they were mostly fucking awful people, who had a history of degrading comments towards women and even encouraged followers to engage in aggressive behaviour towards our female MPs, such as having groups of masked men disrupt community meetings.

Should be more than 15% but good start. Good law imo. Some parenting influencers and family vloggers are straight up evil narcissists (google Ruby Franke) and I feel like laws like this would force the truly heinous ones to out themselves.

using Good Luck Charlie as the photo for this law is a questionable choice lmao

    Good thread.

why did SNP do so badly? And I assume so
Many voters stayed home because it was basically a choice between center left and right wing, how come those left wingers don’t show up for more Green candidates? Or are the Greens that one the only ones they ran?

Was watching the Hasan analysis of the UK election. He was having a pretty pessimist take like Stermer is going to continue the Tory neoliberal project of privatization and austerity under the banner of Labour further alienating much of the voting base, all while the Tories will go wayy deeper into the populist far right to try to align themselves with the UK Reform folks reaping off that alienation. Leading to a massive fascist victory come the next general election.

I have no idea how correct of take that is, but is sounds like it is correct.

  21. Very plausible, Starmer has no principles and certainly isn't interested in any left wing policies. You will even see Labour MPs trying to tack to the far right over time especially in the North where Reform finished second to them in many seats. The new Tory leader will be to the right of Boris Johnson
