This is up on Netflix today for anybody getting prepping to watch the Olympics next month

Also this is also premiering ahead of the Olympics on 7/17

Netflix doing better promotion for the Olympics than NBC is

 

It must be in part II and I'll spoiler what it is (not really a surprise but just in case), but they filmed at the brewery / concert venue next door to my apartment for like 3 weeks. I saw Hawk hanging around town too. I am pleasantly surprised it's coming out so soon as that was just a few months ago, I expected it to be in post forever, but now the season split makes sense so what they just filmed must be in edit for part II.

they had all the signs throughout the courtyard for the Sekai Teikai so they must have filmed everyone arriving and then the fights inside the concert venue. Looked like a huge crew based on how much catering was going on and how much activity was happening around the spot..

 

I assumed the final tournament was being held in Japan or something?

 

For the record, I do not live in Japan :) I just know what was being filmed due to the signage and the actors I saw around. It's just a courtyard and a building so they very well could fill it with extras and and décor and sell it off as another location.

I'm more just happy that we're getting new episodes so soon as I didn't know about a season split and assumed we had longer to wait.

Anyone else watch the Sherri Papini doc on Hulu?

Almost through two episodes. I don’t recall ever hearing anything about all this.

Bizarre, but interesting.
