I seem to remember him breaking his neck back pre-pandemic. He was a fixture in all those PPVs where Ospreay was a rising junior and Kenny/Okada were having their feud.

 

We see Lio Rush laid out backstage, unable to make the match...the lights go dark, a single whizzing bullet echoes through the arena

 

Mariah wearing the OG Toni Forbidden Door gear was a great touch.

They always go big crowd pop + shorter/sweeter to start. Wouldnt be shocked if we got the Learning Tree match right after this...and then they just launch into the banger matches

 

Yep, get the crowd hot, this is a meaningless match so no need to build up anticipation. Its just good to see him back.

 

It'd be best if they just ditched the learning tree match and gave us Joe vs. Cobb
