I grew to love the Putrescent Knight

Its moves are weird but I like them

 

I love spending the fight waiting for it to come within range of my melee. So exciting and riveting

 

If that is a problem I'm shocked you enjoyed the base game with how often bosses pull that shit haha

 

Did a quick ranking and Putrescent Knight ended up my 5th favorite in the DLC which isn't bad

 

It happens but not like this. Never been this fucking annoying.

 

Maliketh and Mohg phase 2 were MUCH more annoying about outranging, by a landslide. Same with Elden Beast pre-Torrent

My playthrough was pure melee as well

 

Maliketh never runs away. Always in your ass. Elden beast yeah. Didn’t know they added torrent

 

Yeah Torrent got added on the DLC pre patch for Elden Beast

For me Maliketh hopped away nonstop for his shenanigans, very few openings in all my playthroughs. Not even difficult but I hate that loser haha. There’s also Fire Giant rolling away nonstop with the inconvenient hit boxes but at least he’s big and there’s Torrent

 

yeah. fire giant is the worst too.

 

The boss at the end of this cave was such a joke lol what in the world

 

That one took forever for me lol, marathon not a sprint

I liked every boss except 2, I just recognized a lot of flaws in some others as well even though I personally really enjoyed them

I'ma do a long players log on my DLC thoughts going through the areas and bosses but I've been so busy at work I haven't gotten around to it

 

Been skipping and whistling through the DLC but Messmer has humbled me

I now just have the final boss to go but I am kind of surprised at your ranking. Messmer is a clear #1, but the final boss is really good so far and Id probably rank every other boss over Putrescent Knight.

 

God I really hate the final boss haha, it is certainly challenging as hell and I "get it" but I really wish they did anything else

Scadutree Avatar is the other one I have very low, just a lot of tedium

Metyr is close to PK, I'd probably say 5a and 5b. I also REALLY like Gaius but I know the complaints about the charge hit box are valid so I deducted some points for that, if they fix that he's probably up to #4. Bayle is cool as hell but camera shenanigans etc. And Romina is too easy to blow through and very unmemorable

 

Really? that was one of my faves. I'll probably do a full ranking once I beat the last boss.
