It's a shame that you can top the group with 4 or 5 points and then play a third-placed team, while teams that topped their group convincingly have to play a second-placed team.

 

France vs Belgium will be an all time snooze fest going by the 6 games so far.

 

We should be allowed one do-over as a continent. Like, we should be able to just say “Belgium, you’ve been shit, Ukraine deserve this more”.

We could do it as a telephone vote like Eurovision.

 

It would be a tight race with England on the boredom department though. Lukaku without VAR is at least the second highest scorer* of the tournament, lol.

 

I haven't been able to figure out the logic of the bracket.. It would have made sense to me to have the 4 best 1st placed teams each play the 3rd placed teams like in a traditional bracket (1v4, 2v3, 3v3, 4v1) whereas placement is an advantage.

Therefore Germany would get the worst 3rd placed team.

 

Please, please, please don't haggle them. He's not been the same since contracting COVID.
