They should really reduce the hatching distances to what they had for the Halloween event permanently. Would really want to play this a lot, now my interesting is waning again. Could be because I only hatched a god damn tentacool today..

 

Egg Hatching distance didn't change for the Halloween event I don't believe. Just buddy distance.

 

Eggs didn't change, you just got double candy when they hatched.

 

Events are good but they can't be all the time. Niantic wants us to play the game for as long as possible. If things were permanently like the event people would be done the game so fast.

 

I'm sorry I meant the buddy distances.

 

I think one week every month or two with a particular type spawning more often could be a good way of going about it.

 

I'm down to 6 left Charizard, Alakazam, Dragonite, Kabutops, Aerodactyl, Hitmonchan (Excluding legendaries, regions etc.)... played during the event got my Muk and Gengar putting the game back down for a while.

 

PIDGEY AND RATTATA NO LONGER HATCH FROM EGGS!!!!!

Hopefully it means the chance of getting starters is greater now instead of just increasing caterpie/weedle

 

I'd be okay with making 2K eggs be as rare as 10k and only hatch the starters+Pikachu and then Caterpie, Weedle, Spearow, and Zubat join Pidgey and Ratatta as un-hatchable.

 

Same here. I mean I hatched SEVEN Caterpies during the event, but I've never hatched a single Squirtle.

 

I still don't have a Bulbasaur, and I haven't gotten a 2k in a while because I hatch them all immediately. Please ban spearow from the game entirely.

 

I'm sort of glad I held off on hatching my 10k until Eevees were out of there. They never should have been in the first place, Or at the least, they should have not been THE most common hatch from 10k eggs. It was just insulting after a while.

 

I hope you still hatch Eevee's from your 10ks as proof that the pokemon is determined from the moment it comes out of the pokestop.

Just hatched an eevee out of a 10k sooooo....

But managed to get a Muk thanks to the Halloween event lasting longer. Now at 139/140 and still need charmeleon, Charizard, and chansey.

 

Lol, is that another person who needs a Chansey? Elusive little bastards!

In other news I am just completely stuck with 5 to go now. Can't afford any incubators to get rid of these 9 5km eggs, and when I get rid of one with the infinite incubator, I just end up getting another 5km when I spin a pokestop. The weather has gone bad meaning going out walking isn't an option, so at best I'll get 1 candy every other day (if I'm lucky) while being on the bus. So I'm about 200 days from a Charizard

So, if anyone completes the dex, do your old buddy P-Bear a favor and think of me once it's done. Just briefly, so it's like I'm completing it too...

Hopefully they do some kind of event that increases the likelihood that you'll get 10k eggs.

I actually think it's pretty reasonable because it would incentivize people to spend tons of money on incubators. And before people say that's "too easy", you still have to work hard for them and I've only ever had three out of eleven 10k eggs be something I needed anyway...

Still need ten Pokemon out of the 10ks :(

 

Yeah, i hatched 5 rattata last week, so I'm all about that change

 

Noticing that 2KMs are harder to come by than usual. Getting more 5's now.

 

When I stopped playing last week I had all 5k and a 10. It's all just random.

 

Just saw a Lapras on FastPokeMap in a place I'm at 3 days a week. But not today

It's weird how you start to feel about this game once you've caught almost everything... I need 20 more and still see tons of good Pokemon, but now that I don't need them I just think "So much garbage around me!".
