How long of a drive was that for you?

 

5 miles but 45 minute drive

 

to dodger stadium it’s about like 3 and a half hours and then angel stadium it’s about 4 and a half hours.

Also I don’t like bugs but I also don’t fucking like ice either. If you think a mosquito bite is worse than slipping on ice and getting injured / driving and hitting black ice and suddenly having zero traction, that’s wild.

I almost fell in the mf Baltimore harbor on a 27 degree day because the path along the water I usually take has a dock section and I didn’t realize the moisture on that freezes over way sooner than the moisture on the sidewalk / road. Damn lucky my bike didn’t fall in. FUCK ice.

I slip on ice one time and that's a one time thing but I never just get ONE mosquito bite. That's like going to McDonald's and ordering ONE French fry.

I’ll take cold over miserable hot summer. I can always make myself warmer. It’s much more difficult and expensive to cool off.

It’s funny cause one of the things I hate most about summer is everywhere you go is so fuckin COLD inside lol. Sure, that first 5 minutes of cooling off is heaven, and then you are shivering in your T shirt and shorts the rest of the time

 

the best kind of baseball games are the 1 pm start time because drive up at 7 am get there around 10 and then in the gates by 11 and game starts at 1

game takes like 2-3 hours and leave at like 4 and be back home by like 8/9 and still get enough sleep for work the next day

But I hate heat more now that my bike ride to work is 3.5 miles + uphill and I work in fine dining which expects me to look clean and polished

I’ve been forced lately to just take the early bus and waste an hour of my day when it’s above 90

Also mosquitoes suck but what I REALLY don’t like is all the Yellowjackets and hornets that come out and try to build nests in your shit. FUCK y’all. Major dicks.

I have reservations that a two hour drive to Philly is a day trip for a show tonight but I blame that on being at the beach all day before leaving. I’m going to be toasted and tired
