Mundi does not know there is a Sith. The internet over reacts once again. Mundi is kind of a douche, but we don’t know he lies about Sith in TPM yet.

 

In this I am 100% on team "it would be cool as hell and interesting if Mundi did lie about the Sith" and I don't understand why the internet hates that lol

 

I would also not be against it haha but we don’t know yet in either direction. I’m so tired of Star Wars “fans.”

 

I guess have Star Trek fan brain, and I know when DS9 writers started to subvert Roddenberry's "rules" for the franchise, and began to portray the inherent flaws, hypocrisies, and contradictions of the Federation and Starfleet it did piss off and alienate tons fans at first, but what we got out of it was some of the best and most compelling storytelling in franchise history.

Critique and question your "good guys" entire premises and moral compass! It makes for good stories!

 

Two days ago Ki-Adi-Mundi was joke character that no one cared much about and now he has stans all over the internet. They could try a little harder to make their anger seem a little more genuine and less ridiculous. I’m not saying everyone has to like the show, but this is just being upset for the sake of being upset.

Fans who actually pay attention and are media literate like 3 years ago: "Mundi was the embodiment of the failures of the Jedi Order"

 

Also apparently every dumbass went to wookiepedia page and looked at his age under "Legends" and are treating it like it is canon. They don't know what Legends means lol

 

I wouldn’t give them that much credit. One person went to Wookiepedia, stated the age, and the others just piggybacked what he said because it made them feel smart.

 

Finished episode 3. It reminded me of the prequels in the sense that it was poorly written and acted.

 

might fuck around and rewatch all 4 tomorrow in the background while i get work done, just to solidify opinions.

I just looked again and I don’t see anything obvious.

 

I sort of see how it looks like a feminine hand, maybe. But certainly not conclusively so, IMO.

 

This is 100% me. I know someone that keeps saying Jedi are supposed to be a source of good and them killing the witches contradicts canon. I’m a big Trekkie and love how DS9 was written, even though some fans even to today still say it doesn’t follow “Roddenberry’s Vision”.

That’s very funny because I’ve seen many people praise Acolyte and bash Filoni at the same time. I wasn’t sure why they had to bash anything when they wanted to praise something they liked. Would love to see them react to that.
