I wonder if there has ever been another artist that's had as quick and exponential of a rise in popularity as she has. I can't think of anybody in recent memory.

 

Billie and Olivia are close, if you mean in terms of someone who put in the work for years then blew up Lizzo would be close

 

Last I can recall maybe is fun. They went from AP message board favorite to Top 40 mainstays in like a couple of months after that Super Bowl commercial ran.

 

Actually, Noah Kahan might be a more recent one. That one-two of “Dial Drunk” and “Stick Season” really catapulted him.

 

Her situation is just so unique with the album being released 8 months ago and now it’s a top 10 album and she has multiple top 100 singles from it, plus she is about to have another. Pink Pony Club is just outside of the list I believe.
