I really hate the song title Dumb Kids haha.

On the iTunes tracklist I see one of the songs will be explicit. I wonder which curse word we will get! my bet is on poop.

Seriously though, January 20th cant get here fast enough

 

Snow Cats is really good, not crazy about the other one.

 

I think it will be "butthole".

 

Maybe it'll be "dang flabbit". Davey is not as young as he used to be.

 

I think they missed a great opportunity by not releasing it around Halloween.

 

I was nervous to listen to both tracks. But I have to say the guitar work in White Offerings is stellar. Kind of reminds me of Fainting Spells somehow? Snow Cats could be a Creeper song (which... I guess every Creeper song could be an AFI song, really).

Okay after a few days I am REALLY loving Snow Cats

Feed From the Floor is going to be my fav.

 

I was initially much more excited by White Offerings, but Snow Cats is probably my favorite of the two now.

 

Apparently they recorded this in the early days of Blaqk Audio and just released it in honor of Pete Burns.

Do you think this album will have an instrumental opening track like a lot of their albums, or a full song like Torch Song?

 

I think it might have a song, but twelve tracks of silence like in Korn's Follow the Leader is also a strong possibility

That Matchbook Romance album had a shit ton of those silent tracks. Holy piss.

 

It's definitely a full song. I have the 1:30 preview of it AND the press kit website has the lyrics of the song.

 

They didn't want the album to end on the 13th song, so they did the silent tracks.

 

Couldn't just one secret track/silent track fix that and leave out all the rest?

 

I think from what I remember one of the members is/was very superstitious and didn't want the album to end on 13 so they thought it would be funny to make it a "double album" by including the other silent short songs

Agreed. KoRn had a great run with Follow-TALITM. Love it. Also love a random KoRn convo in AFI thread, who are both great but couldn't be more different.
