My dad picked me up one of the locker room World Series t shirts and a laniard. The hats had already sold out at like 7:30AM

Do you realize how many injuries we had this year though and we still almost squeaked into the playoffs? This is the year that sold me on Matheny. I always thought he was average at best and gifted a great situation until I saw him manage this year

Actually Mo and Dewitt have provided him a good line up. He just manages terribly and will trot out over the hill mediocre Veterans Day after day who do nothing but a young guy who is a future piece of the franchise will get benched first chance they have a bad game. He just mismanaged that line up. He pitches to wins and saves and cost real wins many times because of that.

Just boarded a bus from the University of Wisconsin-Madison to Chicago. Lots of folks wearing Cubs gear. What a time to be alive!

You know the Red Sox have to be drooling over the thought of him going for the monster. But if the Blue Jays let Bautista walk, would they try to re-sign him?

I keep taking a deep breath and looking up to the sky. It still doesn't feel real.

Is Cameron Maybin the answer for the revolving, broken LF door in Anaheim? I certainly hope so.

My pick would be BOS if TOR doesn't resign him, TEX could be a dark horse if they can move other guys to get the cash to do so. Really don't think TOR signs Bautista though.
When was the last time it was actually decent?

I think he's gotten better this year but not to warrant an extension. But I do feel like he costs enough games with his management of the pitching staff and his lineup construction that had they had someone more competent they would have made the playoffs.

    Give what you can.

There somehow aren't enough highlight clips from last night for me to watch. I hope Ken Burns is already working on a 10 part series about this season; I will watch every fucking second of it with and without commentary.

Was debating going to the parade, but was at the gym at 6:30 this morning and the news coverage already showed Wrigley and grant park straight mobbed, just gonna watch it on TV and intermittently do work

I'm curious what the crowd estimates will be, the last Hawks parade was between 1-2 million I believe

Indians pick up Santan's option (no-brainer - hopefully it's not his last year in CLE) and Francona's two options for 2019 and 2010 (no-brainer). Will be interesting to see what will happen with Napoli off a career year, yet 35-years-old. I can't imagine any team offering him a long-term contract past 2 or 3 years. Hope he stays in Cleveland but Cleveland loves to not pay players and Napoli's $7M salary last year turned out to be an absolute steal.

If healthy, Cleveland's offense should be lethal next year but I'd still love and try to get one more power bat for RF. The pitching should be off the wall too. See no reason why this team can't make another serious postseason run next season.

Blackhawks had 2 million. And this morning I read they were estimating up to 5 million for this.

I can't imagine it will get that high, but we are definitely looking at more than 2 million.

Garret Anderson... almost a decade now lol And that's excluding Trout playing a lot of left his second season.

Estimating 5mil+ at the rally and parade today. Insane. Blackhawks had 2.5mil and that was HUGE.
