We went to Volcano Bay last time we went to Universal and Laura got athlete's foot (as an aside I think the person who named athlete's foot only knew 1 athlete/watched 1 sport) and now there's a water park ban in our family too

 

Yeah, you couldn't pay me to go to a waterpark. Very gross.

Standing for hours next to screaming kids and expensive food for tiny amounts of action sounds like going to NFL games but you love those!

Fwiw I like both (though one is a lot cheaper than the other to do on a regular basis)

Hard disagree on the length of lines

 

I was at a sold out orioles game and the food / beer lines took less than 20 minutes! (But I also strategize going at times when other people aren’t, it’s probably much worse between innings)

 

I don't remember ever feeling nauseous or anything from a coaster

Matterhorn at Disneyland was a ROUGH ride though, got knocked all around

 

The feeling of dropping 50+ feet itself is nauseating. I wish I had whatever gene y’all have where you only feel adrenaline and your stomach doesn’t feel 0/10 horrible every time the coaster drops

 

God DAMN that’s a long line!!!

 

And it's also 5x the cost most of the time (really all of the time)

 

But yeah I will say after going to Universal I'm definitely spoiled by Six Flags lines, Universal lines can get really wild and Six Flags is so easy in comparison

Universal studios boast an average ride duration of 18.53 minutes. The typical wait time in Universal Studios is ~35 minutes. Meaning for the length of an NFL game, 3 hours, you could get in 5 times the amount of action.

 

Time for another promotion

 

I don't believe this - struggling to think of any Universal ride that takes close to 15 minutes or more

Kong is kind of long, Fast & Furious is probably the same, but like, The Mummy is maybe 5 minutes at most

 

Universal studios is the least theme park of all the theme parks though it doesn’t even have roller coasters lol (unless that stat includes Islands of Adventure). The 18 minute “ride” is more of a thematic experience

I consider pre snap alignments part of the action but that’s because it’s fun for me to try to keep up with game strategy

 

Universal has opened 2 roller coasters in the last few years that some people think are the best in Orlando

 

Yeah Universal has tons of action

 

Also if we erase rides at theme parks that are less exciting than roller coasters we erase plays in NFL games that are less exciting than touchdowns+turnovers I don't make the rules I just make them
