I started Octopath Traveler 2 and I’m blown away. I finished chapter one for Hikari, Partitio, Agnea, and Casti so far.

Octopath 2 is fucking sublime. Best turn based combat I’ve ever played.

 

Easily the best JRPG I’ve ever played. Well. Dragon Quest XI is pretty close.

 

Not sure if its something anyone in here is in to, but I've got into the Valorant console beta. As part of it, I've got 5 invites to share.

I still don’t understand how Valorant can work on consoles. I have like 1000 hours in that game on PC

 

Riot has apparently developed some new system that will help aiming control or something. I don't know. I get tilted enough playing on mouse and keyboard, can't imagine what controller would be like. Feel like shotgun/judge users will be even bigger meta on there.

 

To be fair, valorant is less about aiming but rather knowing where to aim.

Totally valid. Most shooters nowadays are made with controllers in mind and they are the meta amongst pros (see: apex, Halo: Infinite), I am just curious to see how Valorant translates, because it’s a wildly different beast.

 

Do not play octopath 1.

Finished my second playthrough of Disco Elysium last night, 10/10 perfect game, never gonna be another one like it
