I’m really into the new Arcadia Grey album.

 

Still banging this Tripsun album from last year, an incredible debut by a UK band with members of Palestinian descent. Many of the lyrics focus on identity, life under military occupation, racism, and media bias. So sad to know this dropped before October 7th, because obviously things got much much worse after that. Anyway, this album rules and has only grown on me. It reminds me of Ceres, early The Dangerous Summer, The Hotelier, stuff like that. Highly rec.

 

You could convince me there’s a venue on every corner of Tokyo hosting a Japanese Midwest emo (lol) band every night of every week

how do they continue to turn out this many bands that shred ?
