My first playthrough, Radahn was the only boss to give me any like consistent trouble. Had to haul my friend in to help.

My last playthrough, I almost went hitless. Wasn't my intention, he just kept whiffing lol

 

the jellyfish shield winged scythe combo is too cold. also use the claw mark seal for some incantations

 

I streamed most of my attempts pre nerf and it took me two different session I believe over an hour long. Malenia did give me more trouble but Radahn was a close second

 

Yeah I literally took a break from the game and also went back and did literally everything else before trying him again my first playthrough. I felt bad for my friend having to witness it

 

Winged Scythe is very fun against NPCs too

I used a combo of that and the Inseparable Sword for my second playthrough

 

I made a new character cuz 1. I cannot be stopped and 2. the Gino video reminded me the one build I haven't really done in Elden Ring is a big pure strength bonk build (I did it for DS3 right before Elden Ring came out so didn't wanna repeat) so I'm trying that out and it's so stupid but so satisfying

That is my go to weapon. Best in the game

 

I was basically just doing straight up strength until a few days ago haha i found all of limgrave to be easy with it

Just absolutely dummied Commander Niall and his cronies, no summons. Not sure if I've gotten better since last time (unlikely) or if strength builds are just easier for me than dex, but I've been cruising generally.

Made it to Mohgwyn Palace now so I should be able to beat Mohg in time for the Shadow next week.

So still chugging away when I can play this to find Malenia. Got to Snowfield and holy cow the enemies and exploration here was nuts. Those dudes who shoot frost arrows and ride wolves!? Fuck em.


Took out the tree sentinel over here and found the Odina Liturgical Town. This puzzle I have to solve is absolute nightmare. Tons of knife assassins

 

The assassins are the easier part!

 

But yeah Ordina gave me such a headache my first time

 

I’ve encountered some archers too

 

The archers are what annoyed me lol

 

Yeah that entire segment can eat shit lmao

Magma wyrm’s scalesword is incredible

 

Torn between golden halberd, magma wyrm’s scalesword, and winged scythe I have them all up to +4

 

I may have been a little cocky about my ability to take out Radahn at this point. I need way more vigor it would’ve been possible with a rune arc but I wasted 2 of them on bad attempts where I died before touching him and came within a quarter of his health with my other two. Then failed repeatedly for an hour. Def just need the vigor
