The touring band I JUST PLAYED WITH does music for a living. Entirely. To find the most recent example of me interacting with musicians who support themselves with music you only have to go back four days.

are they as big as a lot of bands who are well known in indie/punk but in the red on their tours, no!

But they make money and pay rent doing it because of their model

You know why you can't, because it's an intentionally vague qualifier. You treated it like im talking top 5 cities period. I'm actually saying, they produce a good amount of names worth mentioning nationally when by all means Jacksonville / Tallahassee shouldn't even be on the radar.
