Again, in proportion to the number of people who live there… Jax is like 1/10th the size of those cities so for it to produce so many bands and other industry folks who got somewhere is pretty nuts

You’re not getting it lol. It’s NOT one of the best big cities in America, not even close, but it produces a surprisingly high amount of pro musicians lately despite that

 

They haven't produced much and proportionally they don't compare to places like Olympia or Scranton or Connecticut

Hinder (ass but I liked them in junior high)
All American Rejects (fine but i don't listen to them)
Flaming Lips (not for me, probably, but never really tried)
Aranda (had moderate success in the buttrock world)
