Late to the Superman suit commentary, I think the suit looks great. I'd like less lines for sure, but I love the colors, the collar, the boots etc. I will say I believe this was one of the worst ways to share a first image of the suit. I get what they are going for, but IMO this reveal is just not it. Hopefully some more images come out soon to keep the Snyder crowd quiet (lol).

 

Come on, we don't need him in the DCU.

 

I think he could make a great Booster Gold

Considering Booster Gold is supposedly going to start filming in July, I really wouldn’t be surprised if it was Pratt

If Pratt plays Booster Gold or some other character along those lines, will he have less time to voice beloved IP in animated films?

And, if he were Booster, would he and Ted Kord still vibe incredibly homoerotically in a way that we all see, but that they’ll never canonize?

I had a friend in high school that dated a dude named Seth from a different school, I never met him but I remember hearing that he was super super into booster gold

 

This doc was picked up by WBD/DC Films/CNN Films at Sundance. It's getting a very brief theatrical release for Oscar eligibility then probably hitting Max. This will be the first ever documentary film from DC.

I haven't actually read any Superman comics but after watching Homelander and Omniman, I thought the tone of My Adventures with Superman was really refreshing, so I'm hoping Gunn goes for something closer to that

 

Homelander and Omni-Man are atypical and deconstructions of the archetype, and so I have to believe Gunn would sooner saw off his leg than do that to Superman.

 

My Adventures is just so good. Loving this season. Only just learned that Clark is voiced by Jack Quaid which is rad haha

 

For anyone who hasn't read any Superman, I strongly recommend All-Star Superman by Grant Morrison & Frank Quitely. It's excellent, most days my personal favorite DC Comics comic.

Really, any time Grant Morrison writes Superman, it's worth checking out. They're the best 21st century Superman writer, imo.
