Modest Mouse are good but when I saw them live they kinda sucked but it's whatever they have good albums and I hope you have fun @imthegrimace

 

I’ve heard that before from several people but I’ve seen them 4 or 5 times and they always sounded good to me. Maybe I was just so pumped seeing them I didn’t notice. Either way it’ll be a good time™️

 

Vampire Weekend are here tonight but Turnpike Troubadours are tomorrow and I'm too tired for both and already have the Turnpike Troubadours tickets

 

I saw modest mouse with B**** N** years ago and they didn’t sound great but when the other band came on after the sound was significantly better so I wonder if the sound guy did a bad job

 

I also think it depends on how drunk Issac is unfortunately.

 

they're a weird band now bc their newest album, which sucks, is huge with the kids for whatever reason, I'm presuming tiktok. when I saw them the latest tour, they of course played like half the set from the new album, but kids who were under 21 were losing their fucking minds over new tracks and like oh, ocean breathes salty and third planet, this is mid

 

I like that when something clicks with people younger than us we assume it's just because of TikTok and like even more that 99% of the time it's the correct answer

 

Hmm I saw them after that album came out and they got the biggest pop for float on and then like 1/3 of the crowd started to leave after they played that. Luckily they’ve been playing stuff from every album this tour it seems.

 

Also I think you could make a pretty solid album with the best songs for their last 2 albums.

 

I’ve seen them I think 3 times, 2 were good 1 was pretty bad. They just seem inconsistent live

 

It was the same tour for me so maybe you're on to something
