Wasn't Makeout cancelled a few years ago? I see that they've got the bass player from Sleep On It with them now.

 

I brought this up a while ago and apparently they have mostly new members. I assume/hope they don't play the stuff with the truly awful lyrics anymore (but one of my bands is playing with them in August so I guess I'll find out then).

 

Still wild to me how hyped up that first album was and then the band pretty much went nowhere

 

I remember they were the opening act for Blink back in 2017 and there was some hype around them during the 2018 Warped Tour.

 

They were one of Feldy’s bands, I remember

 

some dates are being advertised as a Cope/Beggars tour

 

i'm sorry, are they big enough together to do baseball stadiums??

looks like it's moving eastward as it goes for the dates that show up on TM so far. manifesting thrice at the stuffing to make up for my failed JEW manifestation last year lol

Kinda wish it was just Thrice doing Beggars and not a co-headliner, but I digress.

 

Didn't realize Thrice in 2024 was as big as MO to do a co-headliner.

Thrice last did a co-headliner with Bayside. MO last did a co-headliner with JEW.

(I did see MO/Thrice on a co-headliner in 2010 tho)

Damn. Doubt the Thrice tour is coming here. They’ve really really leaned heavy into these type of tours. Kind of sad to see, I guess?

And by “sad” I mean: it seems to be the only way people care enough to go see them. TAITA tour was the most packed I’d ever seen a Thrice headliner in the almost twenty years I’ve been going to see them. I was super happy for them. But I know when they tour a new album again it won’t be like that. Hell, “Beggars” w/o MO wouldn’t do huge numbers I don’t think.

 

My only tattoo is a 'Beggars' one, so yes please give me that tour right now

Odd choice to tour Beggars. Don't really hear this album being talked about a lot. The one off they did in 2019 for the 10 year was fine but idk about a full tour
