Also haven't played much since Lightfall but super hyped to get back into it

 

new activity is a lot of fun.

 

Haven't really played at all since a month or two after Lightfall came out but my group was able to get back together and platinum all of the Pantheon encounters. I have no idea how we're gonna be able to beat the last week rotation at -20 PL haha

 

I need the ps plus games of the month to refresh so I can snag lightfall

oh for sure. Got the day off and everything. Trying to bounty hoard before the Final Shape drops and grab any good weapons I missed out on in the past few seasons. How about you?

 

Got the Godslayer title. Definitely my proudest Destiny achievement. Pantheon has to be the most fun I've ever had in the game, I just hope they continue to do more things like that moving forward

 

Got mine on Thursday. My regular group got all the way to Nez and we just couldn’t get it. Hopped on an LFG on my lunch break and got it second try somehow lol. Can’t wait for them to bring it back

 

I have barely played this season. Maybe 2 hours. I got in a mood last night to grind for Superblack. 1.5 hours last night and about 7 or 8 hours today. Went from Shaxx rank 2 to 17 and had to do all but I think 1 of the BRAVE weapon quests. Stuck to just doing Onslaught. I was taking a recovery day anyway from biking and running so I thought why the hell not rot in my computer chair!

I've got to buy a new NVME SSD today or tomorrow and have my local Geek Squad upgrade my storage since I don't have the space for Final Shape. Its only a 256gb drive and I need 299gb for Steam! - Wild!

 

Clarity: I already got it. It lined up pretty close just doing Onslaught to farm since I gained Shaxx rep as well as knocked out the quests at the same time. I hit level 17 first, and then I think I did 4 more Onslaught matches to finalize weapon quests since I was just on that rhythm.

I've only done Shuro Chi one time and that was back when Last Wish first came out and me getting Sherpa'd through that entire raid. I looked up that method to grind these quests first and just said "nah".

 

You only need 299gb to pre-load I’m pretty sure. The actual size is only going to be like 150gb.

Reminder that the game will be down Monday all day in preparation so tomorrow is your last day to knock stuff out

 

ah. Gotcha. Well, I have my 256gb SSD and then my 1TB HDD as dual storage. Windows and Steam/Destiny is on the SSD. I guess maybe I can move the game over to my HDD for the pre save and move back once it’s done. (?).

 

Or potentially just un-install and then re-install once the game is live Tuesday lol. I’m sure there will be a queue to get in anyway.

 

……..that’s so easy lol. I’ll just do that!

 

Just traded all my shards for those moon fragments or whatever, in case I need glimmer sometime in the future lol. End of an era.

 

I ended up upgraded to a 1TB SSD. I had 158gb free space and the game is 155gb. I deleted everything I could. I tried to avoid doing it but it was inevitable.

 

Can’t make it through the first mission solo without being kicked. The infamous “contacting Destiny 2 servers”. Hopefully it’ll let me play after I take a short break.

 

I keep seeing all the buzz about this and I just can't bring myself to dive back in. I was a D1 beta player and some of my best and most memorable gaming experiences were playing D1 and D2 with my friends. I just haven't enjoyed it each of the last three times I started back up. It could be I've just outgrown my enjoyment of it or it could be the game itself. I'm not sure what it is, but it sucks because I long for those early days, haha.

 

I think I’m gonna wait til I finish the lightfall campaign to get this but idk when that’s gonna be

 

100 bucks and I can't even play. With work and a kid, tonight was likely my only decent chance at playing until next week. Sick.

I learned a very, very, very long time ago to never take off work or school for an MMO launch lol

 

My afternoon meetings got cancelled and I sat in the no servers queue for 2 hours only to hit the queue and on the verify content portion find out that I was missing game files, had to verify my game files, then didn’t get in fully for another hour or so. Rough but kind of what I expect with their large drops.
