Well it isn't a generic metalcore band, so

 

they did sound the same to me, i'll revisit them for sure, i dug the 2 songs they dropped last year!

 

I listened to TWIGTRY once but it didn't grab my attention. I'll try again.

I'm sorry, I've seen praise everywhere for that record but I couldn't get past the first three songs. Need to spend some more time with it.

I don't know either of them but I'll check them out!

Honestly, I'm not the biggest reddit fan, (I don't hate it either), but this site can get just as bad with 'discussion' forums turning into 'hey! get outta here. We're talking about how much we love this shit in here' whenever someone says anything slightly negative. Can get pretty annoying sometimes that no one is willing to discuss other peoples perceived flaws of something they like. However, that meme was not really in good faith and was a direct mockery so I get it and digress

But to the point of Knocked Loose... ya, his voice is different. I hated it for a while but it grew on me. They just have a target on their back for their success. Same as my instareels are full of skits of dudes in beanies talking like Bryan screams. They got big, they're not for everyone, and now people want to feel included in the hype so they take a contrarian stance just to be part of it.

I think the best thing about the vocals is that they seem to translate well live on videos. 1 more week to my show! Some screamers with more traditional harsh vocals are ass live.

 

New Boundaries is sick I just wish it was a bit more sonically varied instead of just AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH for 33 minutes. That said if I am ever angry for exactly 33 minutes it's awesome.

Its all good. I took it out of context, I see reddit mentioned here a lot as a 'go there for bad discussion / only good discussion here' type comment.
I agree with you that the meme was a low blow and in bad faith. I'm just saying, I welcome if anyone wanted to come in here and discuss what they didn't like about the album and band, as long as it's in good faith / will generate discussion. It doesn't just have to be the 'we all love knocked loose and if you don't get out' thread (and that's the same for anywhere on this site). I'm not saying you said any of that so moving on. General ranting misdirected.

I forgot speed was opening for this tour. This may be the first bill in a while for me that I'm there doors to end of encore.

I just saw this tour last night. Wasn't really into Kaonashi but they were pretty good.

 

So many awful takes in this thread. That is why I stay out of album threads, especially bands as popular as Knocked Loose.
