Swerve vs Osprey at Forbidden Door is an odd choice on the surface but they need a killer main event to get people to buy this PPV

 

I’m surprised they’re doing this match already. I don’t even know who wins that and I don’t know if Ospreay winning the International title was even necessary. Should be a banger regardless

 

I feel bad for Swerve because I don’t think he has been given a fair chance with his title reign, but if now is the time to shoot Osperay to the moon I’m all for it. It’ll be an absolutely insane match and a worthwhile main event. Normally FD has been highly predictable and that match brings a ton of intrigue to the event. It also gives them time to build a big feud for Osperay to main event All In.
Between that match, the ladder match and Mercedes/Vaquer the FD card is off to a super solid start.

 

I don’t think Will beats Swerve. Feel like Callis screws him so he doesn’t lose clean

I'm leaning toward Swerve retaining. It would suck if his reign was this short and Callis could probably screw Ospreay over.

That crowd was horrible with the energy.

 

Swerve retains due to SOMETHING (Callis), keep the feud going all the way til All In and have Ospreay win it at Wembley. All the while he can defend/lose his title but stay in a storyline with Swerve.

 

Will challenging for the world title deserves more than “he won a gauntlet match that included Lio Rush and Shota”.

 

All In is at the end of August, I'm sure they'll build it up on more than JUST that

i just don't like hot shotting this feud, it's pretty lazy. you literally just put a different belt on ospreay and the match doesn't even fit within the theme of forbidden door.
