I genuinely believe it's all the things of In Some Way I hate, with none of elements I enjoyed. Like they almost went out of their way to make a song I would hate.

I don't know Turnstile, but to me, Dan and Alan are both talented dudes, and frankly kinda sweethearts from my interactions with them. I think it might genuinely be a "me" thing where I just don't really interact much with a lot of pop-punk aside from TWY who are doing a lot more interesting things to me.

 

Turnstile can be a fun time and also not the second coming of hardcore that they were made out to be, which is okay

Same with Militarie Gun. Good stuff. Not the revolution, and that's fine

 

haven't ever once thought about TWY or FYS in the same vein as Polar Bear Club

there's only one PBC record I like anyway
