i've seen instances where copies at Walmart have been picked over so much that they're selling the records in their inner sleeves only due to continual jacket damage. it's just ridiculous (i only picked it up because it was during their $15 Black Friday sale a couple years ago).

Shot in the dark here, but I know people purge their collections here so figured I'd swing in here before Discogs.

Anyone selling a copy of the Wavves X Clouds EP "No Life For Me"? Any variant color is fine. Cheaper the better. Goes for $25 roughly.

Gonna Ride My Palomino, Ride 'im to the Fair.

IMG_20240528_125939537.jpg Saw Limblifter in town on the weekend and picked this up, finally. Totally surprised by the colour.
    Was not expecting that.

PS - thanks for your NYC recommendations. I'll share my grab soon. I only bought two things on the trip.

If any vinyl manufacturers are lurking in here...can we talk about the lapse of Dreamworks Records (who were bought out by Universal Music in '03) vinyl pressings?!?

Check out this list: DreamWorks Records discography - Wikipedia

I think it's due time for a first pressing of Alien Ant Farm (ANThology, TruANT), Lifehouse (No Name Face, Stanley Climbfall), and Ours (Distorted Lullabies, Precious).

The fact that a handful of these artists (Sparta, Jimmy Eat World, Papa Roach, and Ash) eventually got vinyl pressings makes me hold out hope.

Technically, the Ash pressing was the European release of the album. The Dreamworks mix is a different beast altogether. Not to be a downer... :)
I too think there's hope. Eels are very much still active (with a new album coming out soon) and my wallet would "love" it if their back catalogue were pressed.

  17. No Name Face got pressed by SMLXL in 2017. It's weirdly one of my more valuable records according to discogs.

That first Ours album was amazing. I saw them back in 2001 when they toured that album!

As do I - I would have loved if this pressing was a coloured variant but beggars can't be choosers, just happy to see it pressed!

TIL my copy was worth about $150.

Literally had no idea I wrongly assumed it was available!
