Yeah, Tyler is open-ended. So is SZA, The Killers, and Blink. So they may be going over curfew.

 

they suck every year lol. It truly shows how thin their lineups are, before 4pm every day is like a ghost town of finding acts worth going early to see.

don’t get your hopes up on going over curfew. They cut the power on The Cure, theyll cut it for anyone on this lineup.

 

I disagree. This is their strongest year since before the pandemic in terms of early acts.

 

Bands can go over if they get an extension. Metallica played until 1030 in 2022

Yes it was just over 90 minutes on their tour last year once the new album came out. Their set list was 26 songs

 

Lolla really hurt you didn't it? Why do you follow this thread if you loathe this festival so much. It's changed a little bit in the last 11 years since the Cure headlined. Artists definitely go over the curfew sometimes. I've gone to every day of the festival since 2015 and I've never seen the power cut once, even after 10 pm.

 

Saturday feels very empty early on. sunday i feel like im gonna be struggling because there’s stuff as early as 1PM that i want to see.

This lineup is still very much not for me (which is fine), but it's funny how consistently over the past couple years they've booked only three bands I want to see on a day and two of them have at least partial conflicts.

just sad to see how this far this fest fell. used to be a top tier fest but the terrible scheduling, thin undercards, and becoming a suburban teenage daycare has really killed this thing. It was shocking going to Coachella, Bonnaroo, and ACL seeing how much older the crowds were.

 

Give me a festival that kids want to go to and spend money in my city.

 

Def nothing wrong with the financial impact, more so talking about the shitty behavior and underage drinking. The amount of kids puking in the trees by Perry’s is vile.

 

I hear these talking points every year but it's just never a big issue for me at the fest. If I see people puking or whatever I'll just go stand somewhere where people are not puking. But I really don't have many memories of that happening
