Seeing a lot of positive reactions for the premiere of the first two episodes of The Acolyte

 

all of the reactions have me incredibly excited. to see comparisons to Twin Peaks, in particular, has me super intrigued, as that's my favorite show.

 

Finished Bad Batch. Watched Solo. Next up it's Obi Wan time.

 

Also I'm sorry did the rebel in the third act of Solo say Crimson Dawn is in league with the Empire? Uh that ain't right.

 

defense pieces are coming out for Galactic Starcruiser in light of Jenny Nicholson's video, like this one from Gizmodo. not only does it just gloss over the criticisms argued, but this portion of it is so laughably bad.

i'm sure there was some sentimentality attached to something like that, but it reads hilariously to have an AI program skinned to looked like a droid generate vows for you and then immediately be killed off.

 

had to look this up because i haven't watched much of the animated shows, but that line really feels like her saying "Crimson Dawn will terrorize systems, and the Empire will too" moreso than "oh, they're working together". but again, i don't know much about Crimson Dawn beyond Solo, so i could be wrong.

 

I wish Solo the movie had the extra ending it's novelization had that tied directly into Rogue One. Where the coaxium from the Kessel job ultimately is handed off to Saw Gerrera with a young Jyn Erso.

 

Only if it isn't about Anakin/Obi Wan/Ahsoka/Rex. That story has been told, don't fuck with it Dave.

 

I mean, that’s exactly who it would be about though.

 

The Clone Wars was a huge conflict with thousands of Jedi fighting across the entire galaxy. I am sure there are other stories to tell.

Filoni is obsessed with Plo Kloon, maybe it would be a Plo Kloon series lol

Also a young Kanan series could be cool

 

He would never hear the end of it if they do it and those characters aren’t in it. I’m not saying that’s the only option, there are many. But I would be shocked if it’s not focused on them.

Usually stuff like that would pop up on the Star Wars leaks subreddit, if there was actually any word going around. This just sounds like some random person on Twitter read a comment somewhere and took it for a rumor.

 

I’m sure it’s bullshit, but I’d be down if it happens.

 

On the finale of Obi Wan. I totally forgot that ex-NXVIM lady from The Vow doc played young Aunt Beru lol

Ok now after watching a bunch of Star Wars series I have a pitch. A female centric ex-dark side users series. Ventress, Reva, Offee, and Fourth Sister teaming up.

I have a feeling live action Ventress is showing up in the New Republic Saga sometime due the presence of the Great Mothers and the mention of them headed to Dathomir at the end of the Ahsoka season.

 

It occurred to me while watching Andor: This is a universe where the time in star systems lightyears away are synchronous with eachother. This universe completely defies the basic physical laws of space and time, and yet we all accept it through suspension of disbelief for the sake of storytelling; yet people online are arguing that a lightsaber whip is bad because it doesn't make logical sense.

 

In fairness, it’s not breaking news that Star Wars fans online are at times spectacularly annoying lol

 

I forgot how much I liked the Mon Mothma subplot in Andor

 

It might be my favorite part

 

I know prison break gets all the praise but the "fight the empire!" riot in the finale still might be my favorite part of the whole show.
