Also Alpha Games still rules. Lucky I got to hear most of it live over the headline date and Paramore support slot.

Weekend has been a grail since I first got into vinyl. I'm grateful it's finally(!) getting a repress, but I was always dreaming of a deluxe edition with Another Weekend in the City.

 

Ordered weekend and intimacy, so pumped

 

Silent Alarm the only one of their records not to be issued on coloured wax yet incidentally

 

AWITC, one of my all time favorite albums… uhh YES, I will be ordering on vinyl…!!

yeah I was skeptical after the first like minute of the song but this kinda rules lol

 

'Flirting Again' has to be a bottom 5 track of their entire discography. That was absolutely terrible, in my opinion. A cross between Ratchet & Love Within, but with Kele's worst writing to date.

It's too bad because Alpha Games had some flashes of decent material, and their following EP had a couple really interesting songs, but if this is a lead single, I'm concerned.

Absolutely not the lead single and I'd be surprised if it's even on the record. A one-off like One More Chance or Stunt Queen.

 

I really do not like this song lmao. can't stand Ratchet either so that tracks

hope the album is more along the lines of the Blue EP, that was good shit

 

Blood Moon gave me Letters to my Son vibes, and I like that very much

 

Haven’t listened to the entirety of Alpha Games for some reason until now and holy fuck Of Things Yet To Come is absolutely gorgeous

 

that song and If We Get Caught are my absolute shit
