There are definitely contrarian reviews to that that say the combat is more complex and engaging than it appears on face value, and that the puzzles are challenging so who knows. I have the first game and touched it a little, and will probably dive back in since it's so short. If I like it, I'll have to dust off the PC for 2. I do remember the first 30 minutes or so being incredibly immersive with headphones on.

 

It is 81 on Metacritic right now. It is fine. Excited to play it later.

 

Hellblade always seemed like the type of game that people respected more than they actually enjoyed. So I guess I'm not surprised it wouldn't work a second time on some people. On the bright side, at least Hellblade 2 wasn't absolutely shit on. Imagine that happened after such a long development cycle for a 6 hour game. That would have been rough. lol

Been waiting for this one. Not surprised it's a great port. Nightdive are very good at what they do.

 

Excited to play Hellblade tonight. Tempted to get System Shock, but too many games so I'll probably wait for a sale or holiday,

 

I find it kinda funny that Nightdive is pretty much the only studio to figure out the Xbox One S' gpu is slightly more powerful than the launch version. They're the only studio to consistently have higher resolutions on the One S for their games. Doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things but it's just a fun detail if you pay attention.

 

The white One S still the best looking console ever made. 2nd place obligatory the Series S.

One of the problems in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wish is that it keeps giving you way too much to do.

I have my ps5 on a shelf below my ps3 and it looks so fucking hideous in comparison. The sleek day one ps3 looks so good the ps5 is a white bulky monstrosity that barely fits on the shelf
