I hate Tank simply for having a name dripping with swagger, and having negative swagger as a person.

projections for true back-ups like Tank or like idk Kenneth Gainwell or shit are usually pretty safe and low and boring. especially with fumbles, usually it's 0 or 1, 2 is rare. Tank is getting projected for 5-7 and I've seen his YPC as low as 2.1 on 100 touches.

 

projections for guys like that are truly weird because the range of outcomes is anywhere between “the starter gets hurt and he gets serious run as a starter, where he puts up RB1 numbers” to “he gets outplayed at camp by the current depth chart and some guy named Lorenzo Lingard and bounces between 4 practice squads” with the wildcard of him getting hurt because he’s a RB and that’s what they do and it’s impossible to capture that in a single number
