Lol I'd feel better about this argument if it wasn't competing with like Comcast and Fox, also multi billion dollar conglomerates breaking the country.

 

The fishing in Florida is great. That would be the only reason to move there.

I don’t really care who it is - I just would like to pay one faceless corporation a non-obscene amount of money and be able to watch all the sports

 

I can get fish at my local stop and shop and not need to be anywhere near Florida or boats or whatever

 

You can pay me a semi-obscene amount of money and I'll watch the sports for you and live text you updates

 

I know but it gives me an illusion of having even 1% of control over my consumption when I boycott the biggest offender lol.

The last time I personally bought anything from Amazon for any reason was some used CDs when I was like 19-20. Though obviously I cant get around having to use internet platforms that are on their web hosting.

 

Fishing is a good argument for an Iowan to move to Florida but not a Massachussetts-an. They got plenty of great marine activities there too if they’re crazy enough to do it in that weather lol

Almost any state is better for fishing than Iowa.

My take:

Florida simultaneously fits all the negative stereotypes but also isn’t as bad as people exaggerate it to be

middle of the pack US state imo. Its not great, obviously I moved for a reason, but it gets much worse than Florida

i find this nearly impossible to believe since the story was also made into a movie

 

It's all bad. I'd rather have the one that's providing the best product.
