Some quick thoughts before I share the song rankings on the individual albums: My top four are pretty set in stone. I love IKS, TUC, TAD, and SSTB a lot. Could I pick some nits for each of them? Sure, but these four have been my top four for a long time now. I'd be surprised if that ever changes. I could see TAA, GA1, and WOTWM going in any order. I like all of them a lot. They have some of my absolute favorite songs they've ever done in their discography. However, they each have anywhere from 1-3 songs that hold them back from me confidently saying I love them at the moment. With that said, GA1 has risen quite a bit for me since the last couple years. It was a true joy revisiting that album yesterday. If there's any album from this group I could see joining the aforementioned group, it's likely this one. NWFT and YOTBR are borderline interchangeable for me. I like both of them, but I don't love either. NWFT, specifically, has fallen a bit for me since I last listened to it. I think it's a tight album with some strong songs up until the end when it fails to stick the landing. I think I've said it here before, but I've never liked On the Brink and it's honestly my least favorite song they've ever done. I think it's legit bad. The climax of the song with the chanting and the scream is too cringe for me that it really leaves a sour taste in my mouth when I'm finished listening to the album. Lastly, it took me a long time, but I actually like TCBTS now. With that said, it's easily my least favorite of theirs.

Anyway, it's time to stir up some drama and controversy...

Yeah, I think I probably like that more than most. I'm not sure I've ever even listened to NWFT or YOTBR in full.

I'll revisit Ascension soon and after that I'll try and finally get around to those lol.

 

I'll do this myself soon, but it's gonna take some time. I want one of those ranker bots where it will ask me which Coheed song I like better and rate the entire discog
